Thanks so much for continuing to pray for us. DJ continues to plug away in his IT ministry, managing the network at our organization’s home office from afar. We are very thankful for his little cabin-office (one end of our secondhand storage cabin that he’s been able to turn into his office.) Before, he was using a corner of our small bedroom as his office. He’s very thankful to be able to spread out a bit more now.

In a couple days, Jennifer has a meeting scheduled with 3 of the people she helps with culture and language study back in Asia Pacific. These 3 individuals are all in Stage 4 of their language & culture studies right now and are feeling the need to touch base and get direction. Stage 4 is the final stage of their formal studies, so they have a huge amount to get done. Pray that we’ll all have wisdom and clarity about how they can continue to accomplish their goals.

We’re heading into the Southwest Texas version of winter now. This past week the temperatures have been mostly in the 50s with a lot of cloudiness and a bit of rain. Next week we will have lower humidity, warmer days, and colder nights. We may get our first true freeze of the year then. We’ve had some nice fall colors the past few weeks too. For Thanksgiving we enjoyed a family meal with Jennifer’s siblings, niece, and nephew.

Areli has one week left to finish her first semester of nursing school. After this semester, she’ll have 3 semesters left to become an RN. Galilee is down to one medication for migraines now, because the other meds have followed the now-familiar pattern of helping at first but having decreased efficacy over time. Tyndale has 2 weeks left in the first semester of his junior year of high school. We’re all looking forward to some family time over Christmas break.

Thanks again for your prayers, encouragement, and support. God bless each one of you.
