Thankful for being His
It is hard to believe that another year has passed since we said that the last time but what a wonderful time to remember it. The Lord Jesus came to this earth to redeem mankind by becoming the Servant and Savior of all. And as He always does, He did it well. We cannot imagine what it must have been like for God to become man and what the implications of that decision must have meant for Him. While on the earth as the Son of God, He was God’s representative to us and as the Son of Man, He was our representative to God. It always makes me think of Hebrews 12:3: “For consider him who endured such hostility from sinners against himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls.”
No need to worry. We have a perfect Representative from both sides.
November
We had a very busy November. The last letter went right up to the end of October but in November I traveled over 3,500 miles going to Camdenton, MO, Jackson, MI, Winona Lake, IN, Jersey Shore, PA and back to Wichita. It was very profitable and I trust that the Lord will work to bring in people who are willing to go where others have not so that unreached people will hear of the gospel of the grace of God.
Vehicle Progress
As of right now, we are about 50% toward our goal of getting a newer vehicle. Thank you all for helping us in this and we will purchase another vehicle when the Lord provides all the funds.
Results
We have been very privileged to see six families that we were involved with leave for various fields this year. You all made that possible for us to travel around, making the needs of remote, unreached people known and several families have responded to the challenge.
Thank you all so much for your generosity this past year. We have been privileged to work together with you all.
Thank you
As always, we want to thank the Lord that He allowed us to be born and then to be born again. It has been a privilege and honor to be a part of His plan to reach the unreached.
We have also been privileged to work with many other redeemed people for the same purpose.
As the day gets closer to His return, let’s keep faithful to Him and not count our lives dear to ourselves. The Lord counted us dear to Him as evidenced by His death for us. We love you all and trust that the Lord will keep us faithful to Him.
Praying for you all to have the most blessed and wonderful Christmas of all,
Doug & Cheryl Schaible
