Bringing Indigenous Churches To Maturity“It is finished”, was His cry!
What was required
A friend of mine, Trevor Mcilwain has a saying that I use quite a bit and that people really love. He says, “The good news of the gospel is NOT that you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior. The good news of the gospel is that God accepts Jesus Christ as your Savior.”
No truer words have been spoken. What was accomplished at Calvary was accepted by God as good enough. How do we know? Three days later an empty tomb marked the spot.
Part of our historical folklore is that when telling young children about pirates searching for buried treasure, it is always in some place where “X” marks the spot and yet the greatest treasure ever to be found, the eternal “X”, was an empty tomb. The only thing that could be found was some burial clothing. We can thank the Lord that we have a place to look to where nothing is. Thank you Lord for being satisfied with your Son’s work.

Just want to thank everyone. We are about 20% toward our goal of heading to PNG this summer. We appreciate you all so much. I trust that we can be an encouragement to those who are giving their lives to reach the unreached.
If you would like to help out in this endeavor, there are some avenues listed below. Once again, thank you all for your kindness and grace. Keep the faith.
