Not far from the Henderson house, we will pass the local market and school.
Just passed the school we have the local clinic, here on the left of the picture. On the far right you can see a nurse’s house and a store room in progress (mud building) with solar panels in the middle of the photo.
We passed about three “neighbourhoods” on the way, and just entered the one where most of the Mwinika believers life and where the Literacy classes are held.
This is Antoen’s house. He is the leader of the little group of believers in this area. We seldom leave their house without some kind of food gift from them!
The house on the “corner” where we turn left to enter the yard where the Literacy class room is. This “corner” house belongs to a rich Mwinika guy – look at the fancy paint work! On the veranda you can see a sewing machine that probably helped to establish an income that made such a nice house possible.
We arrived! This is the house of a leader called: NothingMore in the local trade language! He made his yard available for the Literacy classes and is one of the people who is sometimes coming to the believer’s meetings but still have many questions. On the veranda sit NothingMore’s wife and one of the Literacy students Roosie.
