We are so pleased to share that on October 22, Hector (Our son-in-law) had his Green Card interview at the US Consulate. The interview went well. You have prayed and God has answered. Thank you so much.
We left home to pick them up in Texas at about 5 pm on Saturday, stopping with friends in Tallahassee. We travelled in the rain all day, Sunday, and stopped just west of Houston. Monday we were on the road again, (no rain that day). We arrived in El Paso Monday night, with a few unexpected events along the way. (A front tire blew out near Plateau TX, and we ended up being towed to El Paso! Thank you AAA.) Amy and family arrived in El Paso Wednesday. (The consular offices were closed on Monday.) Hector had to enter the US at a SPECIFIC crossing area between 1 and 4 p.m. He came across on Thursday at 1:15 pm. About 5:30, after packing the van solid, we hit the road east! We had rainy weather much of the trip , but God kept us safe, and we arrived safely on Sunday afternoon.
These adventures on the road the Lord takes all of us along our walk with Him. Involve the things mentioned above: Indecision (When should we leave?), timing (When will Hector’s paperwork come in?), trust (Thank you God for your care and direction!), action (We’ll go-trusting Him), TRUST (all the time in God!!!) We continually encounter circumstances in our lives, we often have indecision, we definitely need wisdom to deal with our circumstances and choices. We wonder about the timing of details. We must choose to trust our God, the One who leads and guides. He promises to direct our paths as we trust in Him, to give us the courage to take action, and WE CONTINUE TO TRUST HIM EVERY STEP OF THE WAY. We may not see what is ahead, but we know Who holds the future, and we know He holds our hand. We go, obeying His voice, and trusting His care.
Amy and Hector are coming to the US so Hector can finish his missionary training with NTM. They will be meeting with churches and friends until August 2016 when the training in Missouri begins.
Thank YOU so much for being a part in our ministry, allowing us to go, and to walk with the Lord in the paths He has led us. We appreciate more than you know, your prayers and support for our family and ministry.
We look forward to reporting to you the wonderful ways God has led us and how He provides and encourages us with grace exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think. (Ephesians 3:20).
We trust you will have a wonderful Thanksgiving, and remember with us, the many blessings God has poured upon us. We are thankful for YOU!
In His Care,
George and Linda Heckman
