Heckman Prayer Points

January 12, 2016 by George and Linda Heckman

We value YOUR part on our team. Your friendship and prayers mean so much to our ministry,
“We thank the Lord at every remembrance of you.” Philippinas 1:3

1. Our family:
a. Pray for Brett and Debby (in Nicaragua) and the arrival of their twin boys. Debby sees the Doctors on Saturday, and is praying she will be able to carry them until at least the 23 or January. Also for Big sisters, Chloe 7 and Lily 4. Many adjustments will come with 2 new babies in the house!
b. Pray for David and Joice in their new ministry at the church in Baker City Oregon. They are making new friends and enjoying the ministry God has given them there. Pray as they are involved with Music ministry and as the Family Pastor.
c. For Beka and Cody as they return to the MTC next week and begin their new classes in missionary training. They have had a good time on “break” but both have worked and been very busy sharing their training and lives while here in Florida. Pray for a safe trip back to Missouri and to learn what is good for them in the missionary training.
d. For Amy & Hector as they begin to plan their travels and time management during this time on Home assignment, before they move to Missouri in August, for Hector to begin missionary training there. They will be sharing in churches and with individuals, and have many miles to travel to visit churches in Oregon and the Northwest. Wisdom, grace and provision needed for them as they travel with 2 small children.
e. Tim and Charity in Wisconsin, that they would continue to walk with the Lord and grow in His grace. We praise the Lord for their church and friends there in Waukesha.
2. Our ministry here at NTM Home offices is varied and vital. We appreciate the challenges of doing the paperwork and being the resource team for our NTM US members. Our job can present changes often, and always presents us with challenges to help our missionaries to have the information and resources they need, on the field, in transition, and on Home Assignment.
3. WISDOM-seems like I always ask for that, but we so need God’s wisdom. He has promised it freely and fully if we ask, so I do ask! Please pray we have wisdom in all of our responsibilities. NTM, Home, Church, family and extended family: all of these areas provide us with opportunity to lean hard on the Lord, and seek His face.
4. Encouragement in Him, as we walk daily with the Prince of Peace.
Thank you friends! George and Linda Heckman NTM US Member Services
