Dear Friends and Prayer Partners,
We feel like we have bombarded you with prayer requests these last few months. We are so thankful we can call on you to pray for us, and for our family’s needs.
George’s parents are in a safe place, and have 24/7 care. We are rejoicing to see improvements in their health, and are trusting the Lord for continued healing.
Brett and Debby are safely returned from Nicaragua, and we are happy to have them staying with us for a time. It’s always exciting to have Chloe and Lily and Ethan and Asher with us too.
Hector has graduated from the Ethnos360 training, and he will do a study in New Testament Greek this summer before heading out on Partnership Development, and eventually back to Mexico. We are excited to see them in the nest week or two. The kids are doing great and growing so quickly.
Cody has taken his Instrument flying exam, and is finishing up his Instructor’s training at Moody Flight in Spokane, WA. Beka is getting lots of experience on the helicopter as a flight medic with Life Flight. Usually she works out of Brewster or Moses Lake.
We rejoice to hear of many groups of people around the world who are hearing the Word of God in their own language for the first time. How exciting to hear of new groups of people understanding the Gospel, and believing that Jesus is the one true God, the Savior or all mankind. What a joy to have a part in this work.
Here is an excerpt we received this last month from Papua New Guinea: The Mxxx People have heard and responded to the Gospel message. “ News Flash! …….the Mxxx people of Papua New Guinea heard for the first time that the Redeemer of the world rose from the grave! You have got to watch this video where the Mxxxx people see themselves as the ones for whom Jesus gave His life.” Here is a link to the video of it. SO EXCITING!!! https://vimeo.com/264338971 or on facebook go to; https://www.facebook.com/ethnos360/videos/10155871345548515/
Again, we want to thank you for your prayers for us. You have been such an encouragement to us. SO many of you have sent a note to let us know that you have been praying. THANK YOU SO MUCH! You are such an important part of our support team. A support team is not just those who give financially, but those who give of their time and effort to pray as well. We thank our God upon every remembrance of you! (Philippians 1:3-6).
With our love and thanksgiving!
George & Linda Heckman
