Hi from Florida!
Fall colors are so beautiful and remind us of God’s beautiful artistry in our lives, as well as in Nature, We may not see colors like Michigan’s Fall in Florida, but we do have different flowers that bloom in October than the rest of the year!
Things are opened up some in Mexico now, so Grandson Judah is enjoying first grade at the MK school in Chihuahua. Amy is doing some schooling at home with Ben and Elena. Elena was so cute telling me her vowels the other day! Hector and Amy are praying about their direction now, as their partners for the tribe they were going to have allocated to another ministry. Other potential partners are having twins next spring, so they may have an extended wait before going into the tribe. There are many opportunities for the Flores’ in Chihuahua. Please pray for the Father to give them good clear direction.
We have many of our older missionaries that are transitioning to Heaven! Many of our retired folks have passed away recently. A good reminder that this world is NOT our home. WE are just passing through! We pray for their families for comfort and peace in these days of change.
We also have quite a few missionaries waiting to go back to their fields of service but have been unable to. A few families have repeatedly booked tickets, only to have them cancelled before their flights. This is frustrating. The needs are great on the fields, and now the laborers are REALLY few. Pray for these folks to know what the Lord would have them do during these days of waiting.
George’s dad is doing well but had some bridgework break on an implant in his mouth! Trying to get it figured out now, how to get him to the dentist (or the dentist to him!) to get that fixed as it is cutting his mouth. Thanks for remembering him in your prayers!
All or our kids which moved in August are doing well. Brett and Debby are settling well in the pastorate in Olney Illinois. David and Joice are doing great in North Carolina. Peter will be 1 this month! Where has the time gone?! Tim is in South Carolina, trying to move to North Carolina to be closer to David and Joice. Pray for him to find the work he needs to pay his bills, and a good place to rent he will be able to afford. Thank you so much!
Beka and Cody have a couple more missions conferences this month, both in Florida. They were thankful to get back form their extended travels. Please pray for them as they prepare to move to Papua New Guinea in January. They still need their work permit to go through, and then to see if PNG will allow them to enter the county, of it their tickets will be cancelled!
George and I will be representing Ethnos360 at a Missions Conference in Tampa this month. Please pray that we will be a challenge and encouragement to the folks there. We enjoy these times of sharing what the Lord is doing. If you would like to have us share with your Bible study, small group or church, just let us know. We’d love to make that happen!
After this conference, we will be going to Michigan to close our house there. Linda’s brother, Bob, will also be going up to close his house next door to us. We enjoy these times together, even though they are brief. Getting the docks out of the COLD lake is always a chilling experience!!
Thank you so much for keeping us with us. We appreciate your partnership in prayer and for those of you who support our ministries, we greatly appreciate you! It would be difficult to do this without you!!! We do trust that God will continue to provide for what He asks us to do. He has been faithful these last 34 years we have served with this Mission! THANK YOU for the part you have had on our team!!
Talk you you again next month!
