We are Thankful for God’s work in our lives.
Dear Friends,
WOW! What a month! Have you had an interesting time too?!?
“Be not afraid of sudden fear! For the LORD shall be thy confidence and shall keep thy foot from being taken.” Proverbs 3:25,26
Our trips to Oregon and to Mexico have been put off until??? We are not sure when. We have been working from home, so we stay caught up on the data entry and important letters of verification our members need. We have a bit different schedule, but we have settled into it quite well. Most of our office personnel at the Home Offices are working from home.
Please pray for the many of our missionaries world-wide which have come home due to the virus. They face a new “normal”. Many expenses and adjustments are in store for them.
We have a new graduating class (Around 25 folks) from our missionary training center in Missouri. Please pray for them to have wisdom and direction in these days of much fear on the part of much of our society.
Thank you so much for your prayers or us and your faithful support for our ministry. We appreciate so much your prayers, encouragement, and finances. We are so blessed to have friends like you! We thank the Lord for you! We love to hear from you, too!
Please let us know how we can best pray for you in these days of uncertainty. We are thankful for our loving Father God. HE never changes! (Hebrews 13:5,6).
Thank you for praying for our family. We are planning to go back to Mom and Dad Heckman’s to help care for them this weekend.
Last month I mentioned that David may have had the virus. He tested negative. Joice and baby Peter are doing well. (He loves his bath time!)
Amy and Hector’s little Sophia arrived April 18, 2020. She weighed in at just over 7 pounds, and is strong and healthy.
Sophia’s siblings love her so much!
Amy and Hector are still looking for a truck. Thanks for Praying.
We are still doing “re-hab” on our rental house every evening and weekend. The house was broken into last week and a couple of items were stolen. SO, now we have added police reports and Insurance claims reports to our TO DO lists! We are praying for wisdom and stamina as we proceed and do what we need to in order to rent it again.
We are planning to have Beka and Cody and Abi move in until they go on to the mission field. It will be so nice to have them nearby again!
Well, dear friends, we miss you! We are so thankful for your friendship. I trust we will be able to see you again soon! Until then, we will continue to pray for you. We thank the Lord that we are His, safe and secure forever.
Blessed in Jesus!
George and Linda Heckman
