Dear Friends,
Thanks for your faithful prayers and interest in our ministry and family. We thank the Lord for you!
Last month was a busy one! We had three weeks in Fort Lauderdale with George’s folks, and one week we spent in Colorado!!
We had not been in Colorado since 2007 and didn’t have much time then for visiting with folks. So, when the opportunity to attend a friend’s wedding came up, we went! We had a tremendous time visiting with friends from when our ministries were in Arvada, and Greeley, Colorado. We drove past houses we used to live in and ministries we worked with, and also the hospital where Amy and Debby were born in Greeley!
God gave us a great time with old friends, (The Gomez’s) a trip through the mountains on a beautiful afternoon, a fun get-together at an amazing Italian buffet! We are so appreciative of the many friends who made it a point to come and see us!
It was good to get back home, and we are almost caught up again! Mom and Dad Heckman Are doing pretty well. Mom is fighting another UTI and Dad is increasing the amount of food he is eating by mouth! That’s a tremendous praise! We are trying to think of ways to help him exercise so he can begin to bear weight on his legs again. He does a lot of PT exercises form his bed, but we are the only ones who will get him out of the bed. 2 days a week of getting up makes a very slow progression to weight bearing.
Amy and Hector still need to sell their Pickup truck and find a vehicle they can afford in Mexico. They need one that will fit their family when baby Sofia arrives Mid-April!Elena turned 2 in February! She’s a doll! We sure enjoy the pictures our kids send us of the grandchildren!!
IN
MARCH…We’ll be going to Oregon!! Again,
it has been 13 years since we were there.
We will be going to our former pastor’s memorial service. Along the way, we will share in our home
church, meet our new pastor and his family, touch base with many, many friends
from the Baker Valley!
We are so excited. We praise the Lord
for His provision for this trip with frequent flyer miles from a friend! If you live in Eastern Oregon! We can’t wait to see you!!
The end of THIS WEEK is our data freeze for our old software at the home offices. We go live with our new HR software on March 16. Please pray for us, our whole department is a bit overwhelmed with the new changes we will have to manage with this new way of entering the huge amount of data we normally enter. Please pray for us to be wise, and able to remember what we need to know. Thanks!
Beka and Cody and Abi will be heading to Papua New Guinea for their field of service with Ethnos360 Aviation. They are excited. They finish their training in at Aviation in May.
THANKS AGAIN for holding us up in prayer! We appreciate you all so much!
We’d love to hear from you and know what is going on in your world!
Have a great SPRING!!!!
Love
and Prayers,
George and Linda Heckman
