Dear Friends and Family;
Well, School is back in session and our little Gracie is an official kindergartner, after begging to go to school since her 5th birthday in May! She is loving school and we even got a call from her teacher saying she was chosen as the BEST behaved child in the lunchroom! (We are so proud 🙂 The other kids are enjoying being back with their friends, and I am just hoping they won’t all be terribly disappointed when we make the transition back to home-schooling in a couple of months. Katie is enjoying all the extra attention she is getting being home with us all day and Caleb is just acting like a normal, healthy Baby!
Greg and I are still catching our breath a bit and standing in awe of the way God is working in Caleb’s tiny life. We are so thankful to have the opportunity to raise Caleb, and have him here with us. We are continuing to see God work in our lives as far as Caleb’s overwhelming medical bills go. We just found out yesterday that we were approved for assistance for the $30,000 life flight bill from Billings to Denver. We will only have to pay a small portion of that bill and we can’t tell you what a relief that is to us! We have also been so touched by all the thousands of people who have prayed for Caleb.
Greg and I are spending our days “getting our ducks in a row” for our return to Indonesia in early December. We are getting passports renewed and ordering home schooling curriculum and other things we will need to take with us to the field. We are also still doing a lot of traveling on the weekends sharing our ministry in churches and asking people to pray for us. We have met so many neat people in so many churches it has been a real blessing to us. We were especially encouraged when one pastor referred to us as a “nice LITTLE family”. He and his wife have 12 kids! 🙂 We are taking a bit of a break this week and last because Greg’s folks are visiting, so we have been going
to church with them at some local churches instead of traveling. At the end of the month Caleb and I will be traveling to Florida to meet a neat group of ladies that has “adopted” our family. We had some frequent flier miles to use and I am so excited to get to meet these ladies face to face. Pray for Greg as he holds down the fort without me.
Our Buru work has been delayed somewhat by sickness among our team mates and bad weather for boat travel. Please pray that Paul McDole will regain his strength after being seriously ill and in and out of the hospital over the last couple months. Pray that we will be able to get the latest portion of translated scripture checked for accuracy and into the hands of the Buru people.
In Him;
Greg and Pam
Nate, Hannah, Grace, Katie, and Caleb
