Glory to God! He is in Control! February 2016

We are returning to Senegal in March!  We also have a healthy baby girl!

“Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.  Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.” Ephesians 3:20-21

Before coming to Senegal, I had often prayed for a husband and kids.  I just couldn’t imagine doing it alone.  My heart longed for my own family.  I prayed specifically for Charles and God answered every prayer. I even prayed that if God willed, could I have two boys and two girls.  My sweet Heavenly Father has fulfilled my every desire.  We now have two boys and two girls.  Doctors had said that it might be difficult.  It wasn’t for Him.  Doctors said that Jeanne-Ines might be born with some deformity but she is not and is completely healthy.  Why would God choose to bless me so?  I honestly do not know.  So many pray the same prayer and do not get the same blessings.  No matter what, God is good.  He alone fulfills all our desires.  He alone knows how best to receive glory through us and in our lives, even in a fallen world.  All I can say is, “Thank you, Lord. Thank you for your grace and your abundant blessings in our lives!  Use us for Your glory! Change us to be more like Christ in this dark world.  Praise God for Your miraculous touch on me and my children and our lives!  Be glorified! Amen”.
