Still Learning!

Have you been trained? Educated? Fully prepared? We have been blessed to participate in missionary training during this last school year and have learned a lot but realize that if we are to be effective in ministry, we need to keep learning every day!

When we came to the states, we knew that filing for travel and citizenship paperwork for Charles could take a while but we did not know the wait would give us the opportunity to be at the Ethnos360 missionary training center for a time. Charles participated in the first training session in West Africa and it was only a month long intensive. We have been able to participate in training during the entire school year and were so blessed to assist in classes for church planting, working cross-culturally, Bible lesson development, parenting, marriage, and more. We especially enjoyed receiving a lot of wise counsel from different missionaries who have served for years. We were able to talk about what God is doing among the Joola people in Senegal and make better plans for how to continue the work when we return.

God is doing some wonderful things through normal people like you and me, building his church among all the nations! We are blessed to be a part and still have much to learn.
