My co-worker Patrick Hatcher has been out for almost two weeks now. He’s been in and out of Orlando Regional Medical Center with heart problems. Please pray for his recovery.

Our daughter Jackie, who is still disabled from the Lyme disease she contracted as a teenager, is always dizzy, and has occasional really dizzy spells that are so serious that she can hardly get around or do anything. She’s in one of the longest really dizzy spells she’s had in years. Please pray for her.

Illness seems to be hitting our team in a very big way -- which is good for you. Really.

Please pray for Ian’s recovery from malaria. Please also be in prayer about our finances. We had more than $500 in unfunded ministry expenses in November, and our income was at the same time almost $1,000 lower than normal. And now we’re going to have some major medical bills on top of that.

At first it seemed like jet lag. Then maybe a reaction to a pain reliever. But at last, it was obvious: I brought malaria back.
