Please pray that we will be financially able to pay for equipment and travel that we need in order to minister effectively.

We missed an opportunity, so let’s not miss these three great ones.

Our church here in Sanford is shaking up the Wednesday night meeting, in a way that should promote attendance, prayer and discipleship. Pray for Ian to have wisdom to find the right roles to encourage that.

We’re trying to make vacation plans this week, contingent on being able to stay in a cabin rent-free. Pray that this will work out, and that if it does, that God will provide through His people for the costs of getting to the cabin.

Meghan, our second-oldest, began her teaching internship this week. Pray for the many adjustments she’ll have to make.

We’ve entered a busy season for us, with family events relating to soccer, bagpiping and outings. Pray that we’ll be able to keep an eye on God’s priorities, and find refreshment.

Our plans for 2007 include a family vacation, a trip to minister overseas, and a trip west to encourage team mates and build our team. Please pray; we are believing God to make all three happen, even though our resources won’t cover one.

Pray that Julie and I will take wise advantage of the opportunities before us this year. Pray for discernment to know which are right for us – the ones God has put there for us — and for determination and courage to press forward with them.

Like tribal people around the world, we all have opportunities to do the right things for the right reasons … or not.

Meghan, our second-oldest daughter, has just returned from the Urbana missions conference for college students, and is trying to decide what shes’ going to do when she graduates this spring. She’s between teaching in the Orlando, Florida, area, or going overseas to teach in a mission school. Please pray for Gods’ leading to be clear.
