You need to understand the context to understand what’s really being said.

In missions, as in music, it often takes a lot of different people to bring everything together in harmony. Pray for a growing realization among God’s people of the importance of logistical missionaries.

It’s sometimes hard to identify a harmony with a particular song, but the harmony is vital to the tune. And of course I’m going to tell you how that relates to missions.

Pray that God will move people to fill important logistical roles, and pray that churches and individuals will develop a view of missions that encompasses the importance of logistical missionaries. The task cannot be accomplished without logistical missionaries who have a good team behind each of them.

It may sound odd, but tribes in Papua New Guinea who have been asking to hear God’s Word cannot yet, because there are too many church planters.

Thank you for praying for our son, Evan, during the spelling bee on Friday. He did well, and we’re proud of him. Like most of the kids at the event, he simply misspelled a word he knew.

Evan, our son, represents the school for missionary children here in the Seminole County spelling bee today. Pray that he will be calm and composed, and represent his school and Christ well.

Jackie, our oldest daughter, has started writing an article or two for New Tribes Mission, and hopes to get more involved as a volunteer after she graduates this spring. Pray that we can get her housing locally; she is still disabled from Lyme disease and, among other things, cannot drive.

Thank you for praying about Ian’s backpacking trip last week. It was a good getaway, and more importantly. a good time to check out the trail we’re on.

Sometimes you need to stop and make sure you’re on the right trail. That’s what I did last week.
