A Dao man wanted more than just medical care when he came to missionary Scott Phillips. But Scott’s purpose is to bring the Daos a gift that is exceedingly and abundantly greater than anything they have ever thought to ask for.

Helping guests relax, recover or refresh takes a lot of work. Imagine trying to do that when it’s over 100 degrees. In a foreign land. Working with people whose language and ways you have to learn and adapt to. It’s not a role people often think about when they consider church planting, but it’s one of the many ministries like ours that are vital to the task.

Thanks for praying for the Bisorio people of Papua New Guinea. At the conclusion of the evangelistic Bible lessons last week, 19 people placed their faith in Christ. The next step in their journey is to learn to read and write, so they can be disciples who learn to feed themselves.

Please pray as today, the people in the last unreached Bisorio village will hear the Gospel and have the opportunity to follow Jesus.

Today, more than 20 years after the first clear presentation of the Gospel to the Bisorio people of Papua New Guinea, the residents of the last unreached Bisorio people will hear the Good News.
