The Bible tells us in the beginning of the book of John that the Word became flesh and dwelled among us. Jesus Christ was the Word that became flesh and He tells us that just as the Father has sent Him He sends the disciples and us as well. The Apostle Paul tells us in the book of Philippians that we should have the mind of Christ and how many times do we read Jesus telling us to follow Him? To me this brings on the question that begs to be answered, just how can we today flesh out the word of God as we live among tribal people. Without a good translation given to us by our translators it is an impossible task. With the Word of God in their native language we can disciple them and most important flesh out the Word as we live as examples among them. A good translator is the key to taking them to the next generation and beyond. My thanks to all our men and women that labours so hard getting the Word translated into another language. Jack Housley
