Literacy, Allows Us to Communicate

September 2, 2016 by Jack and Jane Housley

How many times I have heard it said about Los Vegas, “What happens here stays here.” Come have a good time and the world will never know. In some ways this reminds me of the church today in many places. “What happens here stays here.”

We come together with great preaching, praying and singing that will lift us right out of our seats with hands held high. We bow our knees at the altar with these words in mind; “Where He leads me I will follow,” yet atlas, what happens here stays here.

Maybe we should get the gospel out of the church and on to the streets with some good old “Godly Gospel” then take it to the many unreached places around the world. Oh, by the way, when is the last time you have had someone outside church to ask, “Have you been saved by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, could I tell you about Jesus? Do not just leave it at church take it with you to the ends of the world starting with the man or woman next door then more and more. Jack
