We are back from Africa and thanking God for the month invested there. The first days were spent in South Africa, working with 4 missionaries from different countries in Africa who are being equipped to help their fields with literacy ministries. Then we traveled together to Mozambique where 3 missionary teams and people from their villages joined us to write literacy materials. One of these languages is a fairly new work, where decisions are being made for the first time about the alphabet and how to spell words. The literacy work clarified many of these questions and with prayer and linguistic advice we made decisions…decisions that will affect the spelling of God’s precious Word which will soon be translated into the language! God gave such strength, wisdom, unity and joy as we worked together. Thanks for being part of the team through your prayers and faithful giving that worked to see these three languages have access to God’s Word.
