Thailand & Canada

Thanks so much for praying with us and all the encouraging words as we made the long trip to Africa and the Philippines! We are so thankful for the 8 teams that we were able to work with and the literacy materials that were written for these languages.

We are now getting ready for our next trips to Thailand and then Canada. The meetings in Thailand will be to work together with other consultants to make sure that missionary teams are receiving the best help as they serve the Lord in the communities they serve in all around the world. We will be bringing the literacy perspective into the discussions. So we appreciate your prayers for these important meetings.

Then we’ll be home to celebrate Thanksgiving with our family before leaving for Canada and the missionary training center. A new person is coming in as the literacy course trainer, so we have the opportunity to work beside them so that the literacy course really prepares the missionary candidates for what they will face as they go out.

So we appreciate your prayers for:

• the upcoming meetings in Thailand
• the missionary training literacy course in Canada
• God’s wisdom, clear communication, and servants’ hearts everywhere we go
• good health during a hectic schedule
• that Joyce & I will continue to prioritize our relationship with God above all else and maintain a strong marriage and relationships with others. Most of all we want to be pleasing to Him whether we are running through an airport, at home, or working with teams.

We are so thankful that you are able to join us in the service to our Lord that language groups all around the world will have access to His precious written Word.
