Dear January…

• We enter you with a back log of exhaustion
• Your cool air is refreshing
• It would be nice if you returned us all to health
• You are a puzzle whose pieces don’t seem to all fit together
• Just past you lies a month which looks delightfully empty
• First, however, we must make it through the challenges you place in our path which include: leadership meetings, set up and preparations for 3 new missionaries to the field, reports that need to be written, a language evaluation to be taken, and multiple village events which promise to steal a good amount of our time
• You tempt me with too many good things that need to be done
• You look to be an exhausting climb
• I know you will have rays of sunlight present on that climb that I hope not to miss
• You end on a bang, with a visitor!  Joel’s sister, Becca, who will be here to lead a kid’s program for the in our mission.  It will be AWESOME!!!
• Ready or not here we go!

Pray with us…. We face a month filled with many good things, but not every much time.  Pray for the strength and endurance that comes from above to make it through the many tasks that lie ahead of us.
