Burkina

It is about time I shared with you some of Joel’s pictures from his trip to Burkina Faso.  These are long overdue, but life threw us a few curve balls with sickness.  So they might be late, but better late than never.

Joel traveled to Burkina with a team of 4 to do research among villages
For 3 weeks they traveled from village
To village
To village
They traveled on some difficult roads
With many different forms of transportation
Despite all the challenges, it was a very successful trip
They met with many different people from all these villages
And gathered as much information as they could
They got a picture of their daily life
From cotton
To corn
To chickens
Many sights were new
And many were the same
It was a trip filled with many memories, but he came back thoroughly exhausted
Joel is now working on compiling all the data they gathered into a report
That will be presented to our leadership this month
It is a big task with so many decision that need to be made
Pray for wisdom as they pray about where to send the Gospel next
