God’s Goodness

August 25, 2018 by Joel and Andi

As we traveled away on vacation we praised God as a family for so many things.

We praised God for

  • An amazing view
  • Beautiful Beaches with warm water
  • Peaches, strawberries, avocados, fresh orange juice…oh I could go on
  • Cool evenings and nice breezes
  • A swimming pool and air conditioning for the hot days
  • So many different adventures…the pictures will tell this story best
  • Being a tourist and letting our guard down for a moment to just be who we are
  • Ruins and stories of histories once lived
  • Markets with so many beautiful things
  • Time with family, a treasure that is priceless

You see this trip was a gift to us.  All we had to do was find a place with in the budget given.  I can look back and see how God orchestrated it all.  For me, it demonstrates his goodness.  It was a blessing he picked, in a time before we even knew how much we could use it.  It was all him.  It was him reaching out and saying enjoy this my child and boy did we ever.  We are coming back refreshed, renewed, and ready for the fall ahead of us.

For those who enjoy pictures here is just a small taste of God’s Goodness…

This trip brought family together
and took us to an amazing location
With so many beautiful beaches
We tasted a new way of life
And experienced just a drip of new culture
We dove into the depths
though Joel went the deepest
Walked through canyons
Took the dive
Swam the icy river water
And rode the white water
We climbed the heights
Visited ruins
other famous sites
And wandered the market streets
We swam and jumped off the rocky cliffs
And flew high in the sky
Young and old
Over an amazing view
The best part was doing it together
As the sunset on our time we were full of appreciation of God’s Goodness
And were ready to dive back in to life and ministry.

Be on the look out for a little more of what is coming this fall…

As always I’ve enjoyed your blog and pictures. You do an amazing job making us not only a part of your ministry but also a part of your lives. Thank you so much for sharing that God given talent with us.
What I noticed most though this time was how much your boys have grown. They are not little boys anymore. They are on their way to being young men. Wowzers, it doesn’t seem like that long ago they were roaming around TBC. God bless you and them as you serve him where you now are.
