10 years brings a lot…

For those of you that have been with us for long, you’ll remember that 10 years ago, we welcomed this strapping young man into our lives as our first born son. Jack has taught us so much about ourselves and given us a significant chance to teach him about his heavenly father who loves him more than we do.

We celebrated his life this past weekend but there’s a bigger reason why we’re writing. Regardless of how long you’ve followed us, you’ll be familiar with how often our family walks through medical issues.

Need your prayer

We’ve asked you to pray before too. Recently though we reflected back on what Jack’s ten years have encompassed and Bethany set out to write the story of our kids’ health saga. In some ways it was cathartic but also helped us see what we sometimes feel so weighed down! I don’t say this to elicit your collective “aww, I’m so sorry’s” but to say that we’ve faced something that has really defined our family for ten years now. And all the more we could benefit from your prayers as we face down again, the possibility of some big things. So please pray! And if you’re interested in the reading the narrative Bethany wrote, you can click here.
