Learning to work better…

March 11, 2015 by Joel Potter

When I, Joel, began this ministry, serving on the Communications Team as a project manager, I had NO IDEA what I was doing. But I had so much zeal!

As time has passed and needs have risen, I’ve also begun to take some leadership responsibilities and helped to create strategies for telling God’s stories in a way that draws believers into this work with us. But man, the work is hard. And without prior experience, the learning curve has been steep.

Well for the next 6 days I have the incredible privilege of attending one of the best conferences in the world, at least when it comes to working and communicating in the digital realm. I’m so excited to attend this years South by Southwest Interactive Media conference with a few of my teammates. Having gone once before, I can tell you that it’s like squeezing a semester’s worth of classes into a week! So It’ll be stimulating and tiring all the same.5860012e8a5911e2a0a022000a1f968b_7

I can’t tell you how grateful I am to be able to do what is truly my dream job and have it count for eternity, as I serve the global finishing of the Great Commission and having the team I work with beside me, is a privilege that most of the working world doesn’t have.

Thanks for standing with us, backing us up in this ministry the way you do!
