Will You Pray With Us this Winter?

January 16, 2026 by Joel Potter

We don’t want to take up too much time, but need your prayer support. Would you take a few minutes to read and pray intentionally for us?

Health: Bethany most of all, as she continues to work hard at getting healthier through her own tireless research and the help of some specialists (an immune deficiency might be affecting her). Kate is hoping to make it through a semester without re-injuring the knee. Owen’s also been seeing an immunologist as we seek answers for some of the nagging pain he’s dealt with, as well as how easily he gets sick.

Our Finances: The Father provided for our needs as the year ended. We’re grateful. BUT the level of committed regular support we receive needs to increase. We aren’t able to make much headway towards debt payoff because of this. Would you ask the Lord to lead us into new relationships with some people who might join our support team? And just ask Him to provide the means to make significant headway on the debt.

Co-workers who are raising support: we have some new co-workers who plan to move to FL to join our team in the next year but need to see their monthly financial support come in before they can do so. This couple are a photographer and a videographer and their help is so needed! They’re currently spending time in the area where one of their sending church is located and investing into relationships there. Please pray for them to sense the Father’s presence during this phase of their ministry.

The work of our team: we see so many opportunities to help Christians understand the great commission, but we’re part of a small team and there is a lot of good work to do! Prayer for our wisdom and stamina, and that we would never lose sight of the God who invited us into it in the first place. Many of us are doing TOO much for one person and we look to the Lord to give wisdom in how to not overdo it.

BONUS! Our young adults kids: growing into adulthood in this day and age is so hard. Would you pray for all three kids as they learn to let the Lord be the most important voice they listen to as they learn to balance the responsibility and privileges of adulthood. Owen especially needs his job to either give him more hours or to find another good job.

Ok, that was all! Thank you for taking the time to pray with us. Bringing our needs before the Lord is something we DON’T take for granted! So, again, thank you!
