A Thaimline

A Thaimline

October 15, 2022

We’re just under a month away from the BIGGEST trip Bethany and I have taken since before we were connected with most of you. Let’s see what you remember about that…where did Bethany and I serve way back in 2006-2008? Anyway, I’m going to use a stroke of dad-joke genius and lay out the timeline, […]

First things first

August 12, 2022

We need you to pray! It’s come down to the last few weeks we can wait to make the “go/no-go” decision on this ministry trip to Thailand. We’ve prayed all along that the Lord would make clear to us whether we should go, based on if the right solution could be found. A few possibilities did not […]

Pray for the Home Team!

Pray for the Home Team!

June 22, 2022

In November of this year, the group of Global Partner organizations that Ethnos360 is a part of is hosting an international forum in Chiang Mai, a decent-sized city in the country of Thailand. There will be “co-workers” of ours from all over the world and they’ll gather to encourage each other in the work we’re […]

Just so you know, this part of the update is about our finances. If that’s not something you want to get into, please don’t skip the rest of the email, just move to the next post about our recent graduates! It’s been a few years since we were in a place like this where we […]

They Need Prayer

December 14, 2020

I’m tired these days. You probably are too. But I think I know of some people who might be wearier than us both. The believers in Asia that Bethany and I have been helping to equip in the training program that started back in June are downright exhausted. These dear friends and fellow members of […]

Do we dare hope? First of all, if you want to WATCH this update rather than read it, we have a video version of it posted in our Facebook Ministry Group here. Feel free to watch and comment. Or you could open it up and just listen as you cook dinner or…I would say on your daily […]

A New Ministry (for a season)

A New Ministry (for a season)

December 22, 2019

Today’s update is the third update of the Potter Mission and maybe one of the most important. We hope you’ll read or watch the whole thing! Let me first of all say, WE HAVE GOOD NEWS to report. We’ll get to that in a second. But first you should know that this is a long update. But, we […]

Serious and Timely

August 21, 2019

I’ve tried to think through different ways of communicating the subject of this post (which was an email) and I’ve sat down a few times to work on it but gotten drawn away to other things. Part of why I’m so easily distracted is that the subject of this is my least favorite part of […]

@sanfordporchfest Thank you guys for what I can on @sanfordporchfest Thank you guys for what I can only believe was a TON of work to organize and rally! This was my fam’s first chance to ALL get out to it in our almost 11 years of living 2 miles from downtown.

From the Squirrel Nut Zipper vibes of @oakhilldrifters to the solid southern rock (with a heavy dose of Isbell and DBT influence) of @jfoleyandthewheelhouse to the super tight and in the pocket sound of @bmb.live , the late afternoon golden hour was alive. Then, it was joyful to watch @catridgewaymusic and the Tourists play to full Centennial Park.

Super-fun day!
