Update on the House Hunt!

April 17, 2012

On This Episode of House Hunters… Six months ago, we were just two months into what we thought would be just one of many more semesters that we would be serving at New Tribes Bible Institute. We love what we get to do here and were not looking to do anything else. Fast forward six […]

Visions… (Pt. 1)

March 16, 2012

Your life right now is like a car speeding down the highway. Are you sitting head down playing games on your phone? Or are you intently looking around, window rolled down and hands hanging out feeling the wind pass by?

House Hunters (Florida Edition!)

February 24, 2012

We posted the big news about our move to Florida almost three months ago. And while we hate to leave people in the dark, we entered into a period of busyness that took us off the radar. But while we moved forward in faith, and anticipated a physical move, God walked us through many opportunities […]

Happy Holidays?

December 30, 2011

In my son Jack’s 1st grade class, the students are intentionally exposed to a host of various significant holidays that take place roughly around this time of the year. Christmas, Hanukkah, Ramadan, Kwanzaa… It’s an attempt to teach the children that there are other things happening at this time of the year besides the pervasive […]

Yes it’s true!

December 6, 2011

We are in fact beginning the process of transitioning to a new ministry within New Tribes Mission. Approximately 6 weeks ago, we were asked to consider joining the NTM US Communications team. Be at peace…

November 6, 2011

Over the past few weeks, my family has been aware of and involved in the lives of a family that we didn’t know very well. But God led us to love and serve the Prairie family at a time when the the dad and husband, Joel, was in the late stages of a battle against […]

Stop and Think…

November 2, 2011

Fire-fighters, Police Officers, Soldiers… and me. What do we have in common? What would put me in the same group as heroes like the above? Not my technical skills, certainly. Not the esteem that they get in our communities. And not the bravery they tap in to. If not those, what then? Split second decisions […]

The Same I AM…

October 17, 2011

It’s a ‘classic’ Bible story. Moses, having somewhat recently taken the life of an Egyptian, has fled from the comfortable life he knew as the ‘grandson’ of the then Pharaoh and traded it in for the life of a nomadic Midianite. The man who had likely tasted the best of what civilization at that time had to offer, […]

The sun might have risen, but the garden is yet to grow…

September 30, 2011

It’s almost midnight in Papua New Guinea, the sun is hours away from rising but when it does, it will shine on gardens that are newly planted. And while the people that plant those gardens, hope that the sun will nourish the seeds planted, those people know that it takes time for a seed to […]
