Last week, Heidi and I ended up in town a week earlier than we had planned. We hadn’t been here long before we received a text from our friends, Trevor and Norma Douglas with World Team Mission asking us to come and visit them in their ministry location among the Ifugao people. We were leaning towards not going because it is a long bus trip, but when we found out there were available seats in our mission helicopter already going in that direction, how could we resist?
Flying with Zach is a very good deal. Not only because we get to jump over some very beautiful but rugged country,
but also we get a chance to hear the answers to the world’s most difficult problems. I always enjoy flying with Zach.
Our time with Trevor and Norma was a real treat. Trevor and Norma have a wealth of experience as missionaries and have finished a Bible translation in the Ifugao dialect, so we always enjoy visiting with them.
Today our partner, David, is heading back to the village with two language learning consultants, Richard and Rene, to have an evaluation. Please pray for safety for them and that the language check will go well. We are very excited about seeing David become more involved in ministry.
Thank you for your prayers.
God bless,
Jonathan & Heidi
