Despite the slight delay in this update, we did in fact make it safely to LA on Sunday! Our temporary residence is Internet-challenged, so it’s taken me a little more time to push this out than usual. Don’t worry – we’ll be back to our regular travel-update schedule tomorrow when we push on south to San Diego!

Enroute to Santa Monica, we stopped in Phoenix for breakfast with my college buddy, Matt. We hadn’t seen one another since Amy and I got married in 2007, so we were thrilled to be able to catch back up on life! I loved having the opportunity to introduce Matt to Elayne and Titus, who seemed to befriend him very quickly. A meal passes all too quickly, but it was quality time – thanks so much for coming out, Matt!

The rest of our drive went very well, as we followed I-10 into Santa Monica. We were glad for the slightly shorter driving day, and after three straight days on the road having time out of the minivan is precious. 😛 We’ve spent these past couple of days with family in Logan and Heather, and have enjoyed getting to meet many of their friends from the area.

We have not yet received any update on Saturday’s accident. Please continue to pray for the man who was so badly hurt, and for his family.

    Hi Jordan and Amy,

So fun to travel along with you four!! Thank you for the updates and travel news. I especially love
the pictures especially when they include Elayne and Titus!!! I’m so anxious to see you four and
hug on you for a while. Your Mom has invited me to stay with them while you are here and I
think I will because I don’t know when I’ll see you again. Thanks for the travel update and also
for the Hot Chocolate! We had snow today for the first time, but it was only drops that melted
right away. I had the WOW Christmas party in my home today and it was a real blessing to all
of us. God is so good. Keep driving carefully! I’m so proud of you and the progress you are making
in life. Take care and come see us soon!!! Love you and Like you, Grammie
