May Happenings

May 1, 2023 by Joseph and Erin Suttle

Recently, we’ve had a lot of requests for more specific info on how to pray for us, so I’m going to make a list for this week’s requests and next week I’ll do another.

  1. Tuesday Joe has an angiogram which should be pretty simple.
  2. Wednesday is a stress test, he was unable to complete his last attempt, please pray he will be able to give sufficient data for this one without too much pain.
  3. Thursday is his heart cath, this time they will be putting his heart under duress, please pray for his safety during and pain afterwards. After his cath they will let us know what the plan is for surgery, whether it will be open heart or through the ribs/minimally invasive. His surgery is already scheduled for May 10th, but they said there is always an extremely small chance that he won’t qualify for some reason. So, please be praying that he definitely qualifies and we are praying that he would specifically qualify for the minimally invasive surgery which is a third of the recovery time. I will send out an update as soon as we know!
  4. This is an embarassing request on my (Erin’s) behalf, I need to drive Joe home after some of his procedures, and I just drove for the first time in over 10 years yesterday. Please pray that I can get us around safely and for my nerves.

Thank you all so much for your prayers, it’s been a lot dealing with all the details involved with everything and we couldn’t do this without you guys!
