The days here fly by so quickly, I sometimes feel like I can’t catch up. . .my schedules and lists are what keep me sane. Our typical day begins at 5:30 when Josh & I get up to have time with the Lord. The kids get up at 7:00 and we head off to class at 7:50 pushing the double stroller. We are in class from 8:00-12:00 with a couple short breaks in between. We come home and eat lunch and lay the kids down for their naps. We then have from 1:00-2:30 to work on whatever needs done. Josh leaves for campus ministry at 2:30 where he works in the auto garage until 5:00. I usually clean house and make supper during this time. We eat supper at around 5:30 and have family time after that. The kids go to bed around 8:00 and then Josh and I do homework until . . . until it’s done. Adjusting to our small apartment really hasn’t been that bad. We actually really like it. Running back and forth from the shower house down the road has got me in better shape and on the cold mornings I think I have made record time. We have laundry time two days a week. We haul our laundry down to the washhouse where we have use of 8 washers and 3 huge dryers to get all our laundry done. On Thursday afternoons, Josh helps out at a local creation science museum where they have an after school program for kids. He is also playing piano for the praise band here on campus and is a part of a photography club. Once a month, I get together with a group of ladies and do scrapbooking. We have made a lot of good friends, especially with the 8 other pilot’s families here on campus and we all try to get together on a regular basis. We are very busy, but VERY blessed. The Lord has been so faithful in every way and I am overwhelmed by His love an so thankful for the wonderful husband and 2 beautiful children he has blessed me with.
