Happy Holidays 2014

November 26, 2014 by Keith & Angie Copley

He personally carried away our sins in His own body on the cross so we can be dead to sin

and live for what is right.  You have been healed by HIS wounds. (1 Peter 2:24)

Dear Friends,

Happy Holidays – It is so nice to be close to family and friends here in The U.S. this year.  God has blessed us with the opportunity to be on Home Assignment.  We have been speaking a lot of Sundays sharing all that God is doing through HIS work in PNG.  The girls are all enjoying school and new friends.  Keith is working hard toward a Masters Degree in Executive Leadership.  Angie recently spoke at the Annual Ladies Christmas Tea.  Thanksgiving weekend we plan to travel as a family to Maryland to speak at Grace Baptist Church in Bowie.  We also plan to take an extra day or two to see a bit of Washington D.C.  Pray that through our visit we will bless, challenge, and honor our Wonderful Savior.
Thank you for another year of ministry.  We continue to make plans for our return to PNG in June 2015.  We are earnestly praying about what role we will fill upon our return. We want to do whatever we can to honor our Savior with all of our efforts and resources.

Some ways you can pray:

  • Pray for The Hewa Church.  They continue to grow in their knowledge of the Word.  However, they face many challenges with accusations of being involved in witchcraft etc.  Pray that they will know how to respond in a way that honors Jesus and draws others to the Good News.
  • Pray for our family as we gear up to return to PNG.  There are many emotions, details, and finances involved and we want to trust God in each circumstance.
  • Pray for more laborers.  We continue to have more people begging for God’s Word in their language, more open doors than missionaries.  We also have many support roles that remain vacant (book keepers, dentist, teachers, mechanics, pilots, etc.) You can help with volunteering for 2 weeks, 2 years, or 20 years.  Check out the options @ http://usa.ntm.org/go
Go to to our FB page for the latest update… we have a bunch of prayer requests listed there.   Thank you for your prayers and support – they are what makes engagement with the least reached people of PNG possible.   We cannot wait to see you – The Copleys
