On May 18th, another 51 graduates completed their two-year course at New Tribes Bible Institute (Michigan campus). Here are three of their life stories:
1. Deborah, one of the valedictorians, shared how her studies and classmates kept on reminding her, “Our God is so faithful!” He stayed faithful as her father battled and lost to cancer, as visa and financial issues threatened to end her studies. Each time, God came through; she will continue with the missionary training this fall.
2. In a pre-recorded video, Lane and Emily thanked the seniors for their encouragement and class fundraisers. They were unable to complete their studies due to a car accident which left Lane with a traumatic brain injury. His mind is still good, but it is relearning how to direct his body. They have made a conscious choice to live by the Bible they studied—trusting God, choosing thankfulness, sharing Christ with medical personnel.
3. Eddi and Julia were here as newlyweds six years ago. They took the one year of Bible required by their mission organization; but something kept drawing them back to finish the second year. This time they came with two little girls, and left sharing how God used the relationships and studies to bring their family closer.
