2012 just flew by! Spring seemed like one trip after another. In April, we visited Ken’s brother and family in North Carolina. In May we traveled to Pennsylvania with New Tribes students to help with their senior class trip. The first week of June, Andrea and Samuel spent a week with her parents while Ken “single-parented” our three older children.
In the summer Ken transitioned from the maintenance department into Foodservice at the Bible college. He continues to be active at church serving on the deacon board and teaching. Andrea is still teaching in the preschool classrooms at the Bible college and at church.
Andrea also enjoys trying to keep up with our own children: James (11), Christina (9), Sarah (7), and Samuel (3 ½). James took 1st place in his division at a karate tournament, and Christina is perfecting her back handspring for gymnastics. Both the girls were in a ballet recital in May. This fall, Sarah followed in her sister’s footsteps with piano and gymnastics; she is Mom’s big helper in many ways. Samuel is tall for his age and enjoys people, cars and growling ferociously.
We hope the challenges you have faced, and that our nation faces, are bringing you closer to the Lord. May Christ be the center of your Christmas and your hope in the New Year!
