Transitions

July 14, 2020 by Andrea Jack

Ethnos360 Bible Institute has a lot of transitions ahead. This fall will be the first year of the consolidated U.S. campuses in Wisconsin. A few years ago, the mission began developing online versions of its courses. We thank the Lord that the entire freshman curriculum could be made available at the same time coronavirus concerns will be limiting numbers in classrooms and dorms. Please pray for teachers and deans as they seek to maintain high levels of student discipleship in spite of distancing. Pray for student housing to be available to those that truly need it, especially freshmen whose parents may be overseas; pray for wisdom and creativity to promote meaningful campus life activities while minimizing health risks.

Our family has a lot of transitions ahead too. Our move to the consolidated campus is delayed until next summer. We ended this year with four kids at home; we expect to make the move with two. Our oldest hopes to be on his own by then, and our second plans to pursue nurses training. While she finishes high school in Michigan, we will be focusing on relationship-building in a more focused way than has been possible while serving full-time (Ken)/part-time (Andrea) at the Bible college and supplementing a growing family with side jobs. We need to reach 70% of the mission’s recommended support level in order to re-join the staff in Wisconsin.

Feel free to email us for more details!
