Such a Blessing to Enjoy the Clear Gospel
Have you thought about the opportunities that you’ve already listened to and received the clear gospel? In many parts of the world, access to the clear gospel is still rare or even impossible, even in places where there are churches.
A missionary in AP moved into a tribal village. There was already a church building in the village, so he used to think to himself, ‘Why am I here? They already have a church.’ Whenever he had that thought, he went to the church to remind himself that it is not the true gospel.
How blessed we are! We have various ways to hear the clear, true gospel and be able to tell the good news to the people we love. Sometimes we take it for granted; enjoying the clear gospel is one of the most precious blessings a man can have. May God use our lives to spread Christ’s beautiful gospel to the lost until He comes back!
Our New Home in AP After staying at the NTM Mission Home for three weeks, we finally found
a house that was perfect for us! It is located in a mountain, so comparatively cooler and safer.
Also clean, fresh air is a bonus of living in a mountain!
Warming-up for Normal Life again
Now we are ready to go back to normal life after moving and settling in. It took us more than ten days to clean up the house and fix house problems such as plumbing or running water. We’ve got used to having a black-out twice a day and sudden, big showers. We also met with our language consultant to get some directions and advice for our CLA (Culture & Language Acquisition).
Thankfully, our kids have adjusted to their new school. There are 16 students in Seowon’s class, and 15 students in Somyong’s. Each class consists of kids from eight countries. It would be a great opportunity to learn and have a open-mind as they grow in a multi-cultural environment.
Please Pray with Us!
1. For Our Time Management:
Things go very slowly in here. Going to banks or public offices, shopping, preparing meals, etc. take much longer than in my home country. It does not seem easy to make enough time for our language study.
2. For finding language helpers:
It is difficult to find an educated person who can make time to teach a higher level of the language
3.For Mature Teamwork of us:
Living in a foreign country can be very stressful and exhausting.
We need more considerate and gracious attitudes toward each other.
4. For Children: to grow in knowing and loving their Savior
5. For Our Health: Seowon’s eyes especially get often dry due to an allergy.
