We’re so grateful!!

July 9, 2013 by Lance and Laura Ostman

may these one day be a "fragrance" of the knowledge of Him!

But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him. 2 Corinthians 2:14

Wherever we are in this world, we want to be a “fragrance” of the knowledge of Him! That is also our prayer for the Higaunon children pictured above.

Greetings from Westfield, NY. Five days after our arrival in Florida, we started traveling. Our road trip took us through Atlanta where we had a wonderful visit with our former pastor. Then we spent 3 nights in Tennessee with Lance’s brother and family. We got to meet their 5 grandchildren for the first time. David and Lance look and sound enough alike that their youngest, Jack, thought he was hugging his “Papa” – we had a lot of fun.

From there we attended NTM’s “Enrichment” conference on the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed great teaching and fellowship. Our son Robert was just finishing up his road trip to Washington D.C. and we got to spend a few hours together there before the conference started. From Missouri we turned south to spend more time with Robert and of course to see Ean. After several days there we turned further south to visit Laura’s sister and family near Dallas.

Our next destination was western New York. A look at the map told us we would be traveling through Tennessee again so another night with Lance’s brother and then a stop a few hours north of there in Kentucky to visit friends from Florida who were visiting their family.

We finally arrived in western New York where we are staying with Laura’s brother and sister in law. Along the way Lance has been able to keep working on things Ron needs done before he can do the final printing of Genesis and Exodus. That has been going well and we appreciate your prayers for Lance as he finishes this. Once that’s done, he will start working on 1 Kings.

We are scheduled to head south July 22nd. While we are here we will be giving reports at Brocton Baptist and West Portland Baptist churches. If anyone in the area would like to get together for a visit during the week, please let us know.

As we make our way south on I-95, we will be making several stops; New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and N. Carolina. We are scheduled to arrive “home” August 2nd. Please pray for safety as we travel. We have meetings scheduled in Florida August 9 and 11 at Central Ave Baptist in Lake Wales, FL.

We, and the Higaunon, are very grateful for your continued partnership with us. We praise God for each one who gives to and prays for this ministry.

Secure alone in Christ’s love,

Lance & Laura
