Romans 15:13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Hello from Oklahoma!
Happenings: Our days have been full these past couple months. Lance continues working on translation and has made good progress in checking over Exodus and Leviticus. In mid-November we traveled to Ethnos360 Training in Missouri where we had a great time with future co-workers. As we shared with them, we couldn’t help but get excited about how God will use each one to further His kingdom in different parts of the world. Lance shared in chapel, partook in their prayer emphasis time and in “Candid Conversations” where the students can ask questions about our experiences over the years.
Satellite Internet: Some of you know the frustration we have in the village with our painfully slow satellite internet connection. Well, we’re happy to report that we now have a new Internet Service Provider (ISP). It has been installed and so far, it passes the test. We even had a video call with our co-workers Ron and Michelle. We are very thankful to the Lord for those who provided for this expense!

Several have asked about our next return to the Philippines. The borders are still closed for those like us who go on tourist visas; rumor has it that we should be able to return mid-2021. Lord willing we’ll spend 4 months with Ron and Michelle from June to September. Thank you for praying!
Thankful: We were blessed on Thanksgiving Day to spend time with a family from church. Before we ate though, the two of us did a 5K walk in the local park. That was fun! (and we didn’t add any pounds!)
Near and far, God has certainly blessed us with many people on our ‘team’. Each one has a part – those who pray for us and the ministry to the Higaunon, and those who give financially to enable us to do what we do…thank you! We appreciate you!
As we sign off, we hope you have a blessed Christmas. In the midst the difficulties this year has given us, may we each be full of joy in the Lord for the HOPE that we have in Him. We’re so thankful for that hope.
