10/9

October 9, 2013 by Lincoln and Alisha McIlroy

Well, summer’s definitely over. We began speaking at churches at the beginning of July, but it’s a new season now. We spoke at a church in Oregon on the last Sunday in September, then shared our ministry in a home this Monday. In between, Alisha stayed at home and I took the kids to Starbuck, where I spent the week hunting with my dad.

It’s becoming an annual tradition for us. Alisha enjoys her week without kids, my parents get to see the grandkids, and I get to hunt deer with my dad. I ended up getting a nice 3-point mule deer on Friday with Dad’s help.

The next three weeks will see us speaking at churches in Idaho, Oregon and Washington. We continue to trust the Lord as we raise our monthly support, and look forward to moving to Asia Pacific.

Praise:

-A relaxing week for us and the chance to get a deer.

-A slight increase in our support puts us at 48%. Slowly but surely.

Prayer:

-More opportunities to share with people and churches and that God would provide, as He always does.

-We are teaching a topical Bible Study in our home church; for the Lord to accomplish what He wants in people there.

Thanks!

The McIlroys
