Nagi Adoptive Parents
Nagi Adoptive Parents

“We still don’t know if she will live or not” Obet and Olipa told missionary Joanna Jansma, ”but if she lives, she will call us mother and father.”  Obet and Olipa have been learning how to feed the baby with a bottle and plan to raise the 2nd born twin as their own.

Praise God with us that this newborn’s life has been spared.

“Even more exciting is the potential that this baby will one day believe in Jesus Christ who has made it possible for her to be adopted as God’s child into His family” Joanna exclaimed!

“His unchanging plan has always been to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ…”  Ephesians 1:3

Could this possibly be the first adoptive twin in the history of the Nagi people?

Praise the Lord for the way He’s working among them. This amazing story reminds me of Mary Slessor’s similar battles in West Africa 200 years ago.
