This week end we will be moving missionary friends, Beto and Tania with their children, Ailton and Noemy, to their new ministry location.
Miles has a license that allows him to drive a larger size truck, so he can drive the truck that has been loaned to them to make this move, while the family will go in their personal vehicle. The drive will take us at least two days. Once there, Miles will paint the interior of their house, if it is necessary, before they move in. His skills in so many different areas are always a help in this ministry.
We are thankful to see this couple getting settled in this ministry outreach. Both Beto and Tania are from our local church. Their co-workers, Adair and Zilene, have been in this work for over twenty years. Adair is also from the church we attend. About four years ago, the husband of the family of who worked with them, died in a car accident, leaving his wife, Katia, and four daughters. They moved not long afterwards and Katia now helps work in the administrative offices of our organization.
Adair and Zilene have been alone since that time. So we hope that getting new co-workers will be a boost of encouragement to them, and we feel that they will be an encouragement to Beto and Tania as they begin the adaption process to this new place and new ministry, culture and language. We are happy to have a small part in helping them get started here.
