Thank you for praying for our time at the NIP Conference. It was an encouraging time for all of us. It was emotional seeing the excitement of the believers as they reconnected with their brothers and sisters in Christ that they had met a year ago. It was also great to hear the testimonies of all involved in how the Lord has been working in each language group over the past year. There were sacrifices made on the part of each person that chose to come in order to get there! The teaching was done from Ephesians and the believers were challenged in their family relationships. Pray that they would be able to apply what they learned in their home lives.
Happy Thanksgiving!! Ned gets home on Friday from his time of translation consultant training. He has been gone since November 4th so we are anxious to see him. We will celebrate Thanksgiving on Sunday. Josiah is on his way to Wisconsin to visit Kara Linn and Bethany for Thanksgiving so they are all looking forward to being together. Josiah is afraid he is going to freeze to death!
Iris had her eye surgery today on both eyes and it went well. We are so thankful. Please continue praying for her recovery in the months ahead so the Carltons will be able to come back to PNG ASAP.
Please pray for Robin as he continues to teach a new group of Tigak people from Creation to Christ. Paska is traveling to visit his daughter in another area of Papua New Guinea so Robin will be teaching on his own for most of December. It is going to be a challenge for him!
