We are excited to be heading into the holiday season! It will be a special time with our family. It will be our last Thanksgiving and Christmas together with all seven of our kids before Kara Linn and Bethany get married. I am sure in the years to come all the dynamics will be a bit different so we want to enjoy every minute of the next month. (And we are pretty certain that the next two Christmases we will not see our four kids in the USA – which breaks our heart…)
Thank you for praying for Paska. He is doing a great job teaching through Romans to the believers. They are currently starting on Romans 7. Romans 6 has challenged them and they continue to grow as believers in their walk with the Lord. The third annual New Ireland Province Church Conference was this past week! It is always so encouraging to the believers to meet together with believers from other nearby language groups. There was more teaching on Romans 6 at the conference. You can see many more pictures and details of the conference on Aimee’s blog at – https://aimeehedrick.wordpress.com/
Ned has an office to work out of at Christ Chapel Bible Church here in Fort Worth. It has been a blessing to have a place for him to continue working full time on translation. He is working hard on Hebrews and getting as much done on it as he can before we get back to the tribe. We have less than two months until we head back to Papua New Guinea. We would appreciate your continued prayers that we can get everything ready for our return. As we think of going back it is very overwhelming when we look at our “to do” list. We also need wisdom on how much dental work we can “afford” to get done (or not get done) before we leave. With three kids in college and two girls getting married and buying for our return to PNG – the amount of dental work we need to have done is scary! This time in our life is definitely drawing us to the Lord and His faithfulness!!
Have an amazing THANKSGIVING with your family! Giving thanks to God for His faithfulness and blessings over this past year. We are thankful for each one of you as you stand with us.
