(Those are live 12V batteries folks! We could have melted our wrenches if we weren’t cautious.)
Maneuver through the muddy snow back to our other classroom for a little bit of soldering fun.
To tell you the truth, it was fun to be without our husbands—not because we don’t like them, but because we felt a little more comfortable knowing we could do it by ourselves if we had to do some wiring or repair the diodes on our solar panels if it came down to it. I honestly don’t know how we’d make it without this training. It’s invaluable whether or not we end up in the middle of Africa or in an Asian mountain village! I find it amazing how the very sun that shines down on us is being used to speed up the process of shining the Light of the Good News into the darkness!

I turn 65 on Sunday, April 7, 2013, and began Medicare this month. Now I can get these health screenings. Never had health insurance in thirty years. Certainly hope they don’t find much wrong. God in some way saw me through. It is a mystery. Trust and obey for there’s no other way, to be happy in Jesus, but to ………. Jesus is our wisdom…..the way, the truth, the life and I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13. Love, and pray that I can be more obedient to our Lord. Les
