I think it might be winter…

December 1, 2010 by Payton and Grace Downing

I know that the first official day of winter is not until later in December and I’m not sure who gets to decide, but I vote that winter is here. Snow is falling and bells are ringing…well, the bell that tells me I need to get to class. And, there’s a nice bone-chilling draft coming from our windows. So, here’s to winter and it’s blustery arrival!

We had a great Thanksgiving with family. The break was refreshing indeed. Mom graciously gave me the turkey carcass, which I turned into soup. Oh, and I finally got a good loaf of rye bread! I also enjoyed trying out a new jam recipe. Toast seems to be a developing weakness in my life…yum!
