MARCH FAMILY NEWS -2023

March 15, 2023 by Phil and Jackie

Time is marching by fast! We are already deep into the month of March.Last month we were delighted to drive up to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to spend a week with Jason and Tiffany and our four grandkids. Their days of RVing around the county may soon be over and we thought it would be easier to visit with them while they were on the Eastern Seaboard than to have to travel almost to the setting of the sun when they decide to settle down out west, maybe in California, Arizona, or Colorado. Please PRAY for them in this decision of where to live.
We are pleased to have our other two grandchildren living close by.  Cody and Beka are living and working at the mission retirement center, until they get a medical release for Benaiah so they can return to PNG. We got to celebrate Abi’s forth birthday last month, and Benaiah’s first birthday will happen at the end of this month. God has worked miracles in his little body, and it is great to see him developing in ways we were even afraid to hope for eleven months ago.  He is a cutie with a quick crawl, a ready simile, and did I mention that he is cute! He will be weaned from all his medication today, and if all looks well on his next scan, they will be making serious plans to return to the mission field.  Please PRAY for God’s will in all this!
Haley is still working for the mission on the maintenance team, but recently started a job at the UPS warehouse loading boxes onto trucks to be delivered the next day. It only gives her about five hours a night. It is a hard job and some of the boxes are really heavy. She would like to become a truck driver and have her own route and full hours, but that only comes after weeks of grueling work in the warehouse. PRAY for safety on the job and a desire to continue walking with the Lord.

Heather is still in Germany but will have some big decisions to make in the next 6 months so PRAY for wisdom for her and sensitivity to the Lord’s will in her life.
