TIME TO RESTOCK THE VENDING MACHINE

March 25, 2011 by Phil and Elin Henderson

Vending machines. Every office and public place seems to have one or more of these. Seems like everywhere you turn, you find another. Believe it or not, we even have one here in our yard. To prove it, here’s a picture of one. It’s a guava tree! Actually we have quite a few vending machines in our yard, one that dispenses guavas, three that dispense passion fruit, ten or more that dispense mangoes, 2 that dispense lemons (these last two machines are not very popular), etc. etc.. Anyone who visits our yard or any of the office workers that show up each day regularly visit these vending machines to see which ones have been stocked recently. They tend to get stocked in spurts though. The mango dispensing machines have been not been stocked in a month or more and probably won’t be stocked again until around November. The guava, passion fruit, mulberry, banana, and papaya machines, on the other hand, are getting stocked on a regular basis. The problem with all these vending machines is that the money collecting mechanism seems to be malfunctioning. For some reason it remains empty! Oh well, at least we have can raid the vending machines any time we want to and it doesn’t cost a dime either! 🙂
