WEEK 7 UPDATE

April 8, 2011 by Phil and Elin Henderson

We had a short week on account of the rain on Thursday, teaching through only three lessons. On Monday we taught the sacrifice of Isaac, on Tuesday the story of Jacob and Esau, and on Wednesday the first part of the Joseph story. Thursday’s lesson completing the Joseph story will now be taught on Monday. The picture is of Francois with his team of readers at Wednesday’s meeting. The Joseph story contains a lot of reading so he had a team of readers up front to help him read the story. He provided the teaching points in between the sections of reading.

We were thankful for good attendance on the days we had lessons. We are seeing people’s sense of alarm grow as they begin to understand the predicament that they are in in God’s sight. Some of the stories of what happened this week we will post separately.

Please continue to pray for good faithful attendance at the lessons and that God will be at work in the hearts of those who attend the sessions and hear the lessons.
